How Restoration Works
Here is how used exam chairs are restored, from the day equipment arrives to the day it ships. Restoration is available on request, and each listing's description tells you what was done to that item.
Intake and inspection
When equipment arrives for restoration, it is checked for function and condition. Worn, damaged, or missing parts are noted so nothing is a surprise later.

Parts preparation
Thorough cleaning, sanding, and preparation before painting. The frame is taken down to a clean surface so the new finish lasts.

Paint
Full repainting in a professional paint booth to factory standards, with no chips, scratches, or rust.

Upholstery
New upholstery and padding for the seat, back, and headrest. Choose a color and match it across every chair in your practice with the Matching Upholstery Program.
Reassembly and testing
Worn or damaged parts are repaired or replaced, then the unit is reassembled and run through every function. Microscopes and diagnostic equipment receive technical restoration from biomedical technicians.

Ready to ship
Finished units are crated or palletized and ready to ship by freight.
